project scope.
APTA Pennsylvania (formerly known as PPTA) is a chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association. APTA Pennsylvania is one of 50 State Chapters within the APTA and currently represents more than 5700 physical therapist and physical therapist assistant members and over 1000 student members across the Commonwealth.
Every year, they send out an annual newsletter that goes to all of their members, which I had the opportunity to design for two straight years. I created an extensive publication design with over 60 pages of cohesive compositional layouts. Overall, it is marked by consistent design choices that explore a balance between typography and imagery while presenting the content in a digestible manner that is readable, legible, and enjoyable to read. The usage of teals, blues, and grays as well as rounded edges and the font Museo throughout the publication invoke a calming experience while reading.
