project scope.
In 2006, the GLY Foundation hosted their first golf tournament in memory of loved ones who lost their lives due to cancer. The GLYF golf tournament went from 4 foursomes in 2006 to a projected count of 72 in 2014. This is a tribute to a foundation who is passionate to heighten awareness and raise money for the research and treatment of all cancers.
Fast-forward a decade and a half, I was tasked with creating a postcard advertising the momentous 15th Annual Golf Tournament. The goal was to stress this year, the importance of the community, and their recognizable branding (colors, fonts, and logo). Thus, incorporating the collage of images into the colored “15” was a conscious decision. Finding a balance between informational content and visual composition, the finalized layout symbolized that the golf tournament has transcended from being just a fundraising sporting event to a true staple of the community.
